Wholesale cabinets for contractors is East Coast Cabinetry Group's trade account for small contractors and remodelers in Charlotte, NC and 31 states and Washington, DC. You get in-stock Shaker cabinets at wholesale pricing with no minimum order. Open the account once, then every job comes back quoted within 1 business day and delivered in 1–5 days.
Definition
Wholesale cabinets for contractors are cabinets bought at trade pricing from a cabinet distributor instead of a retail store. The contractor sets the client's price, so the margin stays with the shop that measures, sells and installs the kitchen.
At ECG the line is one Shaker door style in four finishes: Shaker White, Dove, Lightwood and Evergreen. Every box is built the same way: a 1/2" plywood cabinet box, 3/4" plywood shelves, 5/8" solid wood dovetail drawers and soft-close hinges and glides.
The account is built for small shops: the general contractor or remodeler handling one kitchen renovation at a time. There is no minimum order, so a single kitchen or a single bathroom vanity ships at the same wholesale pricing as a larger job. ECG supplies and delivers; your crew installs.

Six signs that buying cabinets retail or job by job is costing your shop time or margin.
The client signed, and now the color is weeks out. Stock that is confirmed in the quote fixes that.
A slow supplier quote means a cold client. Next-business-day pricing keeps the deal moving.
Minimum orders shut out one-kitchen jobs. A no-minimum account takes them.
Flat-pack assembly takes crew time. Assembled cabinets go straight to install.
Wood and green are rising in 2026. Lightwood and Evergreen are stocked, not special order.
Buying at retail leaves little room for markup. Wholesale pricing protects it.

Scope
What you get with an approved account, and what stays outside ECG’s scope.
Pricing
ECG does not publish prices; approved partners get wholesale pricing in each quote. These six factors set the total.
| Factor | How it changes the price | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Number and size of SKUs | More boxes and wider boxes raise the total; the per-SKU price is the same wholesale rate | A single 36" vanity costs far less than a full L-shaped kitchen |
| RTA or assembled | Assembled includes assembly labor; RTA ships flat with less freight volume | Choose "Both" to see the two options side by side |
| Finishing pieces | Panels, moldings, fillers and decorative doors are separate line items | Island end panels and crown add to a basic run |
| Organizers and accessories | Roll-outs, trash pull-outs and floating shelves are optional add-ons | A two-can trash pull-out adds one SKU |
| Freight to the project ZIP | Distance and order volume set the freight, shown in the quote | A Charlotte-metro job vs a delivery out of state |
| Order completeness | A complete SKU list prices once; missing pieces mean a second order and second freight | Ordering fillers with the cabinets avoids a reorder |
Contractor checklist
The cabinet supplier decides whether a remodel finishes on schedule. Use these mistakes, checklist and labor math before you commit to one.
A price is not a delivery date. Ask the supplier to confirm stock in the quote itself; ECG does on every quote.
Fillers, dishwasher panels, scribe and crown are easy to forget and costly to reorder. List them with the cabinets; see fillers, scribe and light rail explained.
Transport damage is excluded from most cabinet warranties, including ECG's. Count boxes and check corners before the driver leaves.
When install days are the bottleneck. Assembled cabinets arrive ready to set, so the crew moves from demo to install without an assembly day.
When freight, storage or tight access matter more than labor, such as narrow stairs or a condo elevator.
One contractor on ContractorTalk estimated about 8 hours to assemble the cabinets for a typical kitchen. Multiply your crew's hourly cost by your own assembly time and compare it with the RTA and assembled prices in your quote. Full comparison in RTA vs assembled cabinets.
